Politics of Fear
A re-thinking of the New Yorker's cover:
The satire of satire

I was infuriated when I saw the cover of The New Yorker, and would like to voice out my response to this so-called political satire. As a concerned Vermont artist, we just can't let misleading spins under the guise of satire get away with this. Here is my re-thinking to complete the missing piece; something that has depth and insight, something that directly hits the message and not just a blunt-illustrated-statement-period(.) It is something that is not visually misleading people into thinking that the Obama's are muslims or revolutionaries, or whatever it may to invoke fear, but also to expose the other face of the coin: who are the spinners behind the real creation of the "Politics of Fear". Here we have it, satire of satire, or the kings of spin and fear. ~ Maria Crosby
