Holtz fiberglass bow (BB10), and a padded bag (model 40). No substitutions are permitted on ST model instruments.

The Samuel Eastman model 90 is consolidated and upgraded with the 120 model. The model 120 has been discontinued. Most players and luthiers agree that the tone color of an instrument depends a great deal on the materials and construction of the instrument's top. The Samuel Eastman model 90 bass has a top carved of solid spruce, so it combines the sturdiness and cost savings of a laminated bass with the improved sound of a carved top.

The Samuel Eastman model 95 is consolidated and upgraded with the 125 model. The model 125 has been discontinued. This bass is built with a fully carved spruce top, just like the model 90 bass but it is finished with a hand-applied shaded varnish to give it a special antique appearance.
